International Centre of Word and Action Pty (Ltd) (ICOWA) is a private company registered under Companies and Intellectual Property Commission, South Africa in terms of Section 14 of the Companies Act, 2008. ICOWA is an acronym for the registered and here forth the registered website name of the aforesaid company.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect your personal data  provided to us through contact forms this may include your names and e-mail.

We do this merely for the purpose of staying in contact with you and providing you the relevant information that you require about our services and projects.

We strongly encourage that you do not share any personal information such as your identity numbers, and banking details through our contact forms as we do not have any use of it in our endeavors.

By contacting through our Contact form does not mean that we automatically add your contact details on our contacts list. We shall only contact you as per your comments on the contact form.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. However, we discourage comments and any comments that have been input will not be authorized for public viewing unless our policy changes on this stance, and your commentary is of sound and hope inspiring nature.

Media

All files uploaded to our library are mainly consisting of files produced or created by ICOWA for the purposes of record keeping. Should you wish any image or product containing your face displayed on our site make you feel uncomfortable in any manner, feel free to contact us to take it down, and will do so in within 72 hours after such request is received.

Contact forms

Any information received through our contact forms will not be submitted through any third-party for marketing purposes and nor will our associated project runners send you any marketing material unless otherwise requested.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
